Biography:

Dear Centennial Families,

It is my honor and privilege to serve the students, staff, and community of Centennial Elementary. I believe every child thrives when educators, families, and students work together as a strong team. I also believe that a strong and thriving public school is the cornerstone of our community. There is no greater accomplishment than making a positive difference in the lives of others, and student success is always my highest priority. I am passionate about supporting the well-being of the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching third and fifth grade at Hightower Elementary. I later served as an assistant principal at Daffron, Wells, Barksdale, and Brinker—schools within Plano ISD. Each of these experiences has shaped the school leader I am today. However, it is my role as a mother of two children that has most influenced my leadership. Every decision I make is grounded in doing what is best for students—always placing children first.

The staff and I sincerely hope that every student loves coming to school each day, feels supported and safe, and experiences learning that is meaningful and joyful. Student safety and the delivery of an excellent education for every child remain at the heart of all we do.

Once again, it is an honor to work alongside the children and families of Centennial Elementary. I look forward to meeting you and your child, learning their names, and supporting their unique needs. My door is always open, and I welcome your questions, recommendations, and concerns. Please know that any member of our Centennial staff is ready to support your family in any way we can.

Best wishes for a successful school year!
