Title IX Coordinator

Title IX is a federal law that protect students from discrimination based on sex in school and educational programs. It also addresses sexual harassment and other sex-based misconduct.

Title IX protects all students, regardless of gender and applies to all school programs, activities and events.

Concerns may include sex discrimination, sexual harassment, or any behavior that makes a student feel unsafe or uncomfortable at school or during school-related activities.

The school taks all reports seriously and follows district and dederal guidelines to review and respond appropriately whil supporting students and families.

At our school, everyone has the right to a safe and respectful learning environment. Anyone who experiences or witnesses a concern can tell a teacher, counselor, or the Campus Title IX Coordinator or file a formal complaint:

Both the person reporting and the person the report is about are notified that a concern has been received.

• A trained staff member looks into the concern carefully and fairly.
• Everyone involved has a chance to share their side and provide information.
• The person who the concern is about is treated as innocent until proven otherwise.

• After reviewing the information, a determination is made.
• Support and resources are offered to everyone involved.

• All reports are handled respectfully and privately, to the extent possible.
• Safety is always our first priority.
