Physical Education
Building Healthy Bodies and Confident Minds!
We believe physical education should be an integral part of every student’s experience in Plano ISD. When students feel confident in their physical development and self-concept, they are more likely to succeed in the classroom and beyond. A strong physical education program includes a variety of activities that build lasting skills and abilities.
Our program is designed to motivate students by offering activities at all levels, allowing every child to experience success while progressing through increasing stages of difficulty. Fundamental to student development is becoming physically fit, developing motor skills, gaining knowledge and understanding, building appropriate social behaviors, and fostering lifelong physical well-being
